To Pergo or not to Pergo?

That is our question! We are in the middle of a floor situation and I need many, many comments from everyone who reads this post! We have had a floor detail done through Lowe's and we were planning on putting in some Pergo. The people at Lowe's said Pergo is very durable and will last for a while, plus there is a 25 year warranty. I then start reading on the internet and read multiple reviews of people saying avoid Pergo it is awful and will scratch very easily. So I started getting concerned that we were making the wrong choice. I called Home Depot to get an opinion from someone who works there. I also asked a guy who is putting in our french doors about it. So far all of those people have said to not put in Pergo. So I started calling friends. I have a couple friends with Pergo and they love it! But, it isn't in their dining room, and that is where we wanted to put it. I read some more reviews today and all those people really liked the pergo and were glad they had put it in their house. Now I am looking for more review, comments and advice on whether to go forward without Pergo choice or to try and switch to something else. We can't get hardwood because that would totally break the budget. So please offer an comment you can about the Pergo!

How many people really have been to McDonald's?

Some McDonald's signs say "Millions and Billions served" others just say "Billions Served" and some like this sign give an actual number.

In the blogosphere visitors (traffic) are a huge thing for the survival of our websites. We speak of unique visitors compared with return visitors, or subscribers. I love my subscribers and appreciate all the return visitors I get. A place like McDonald's would only be able to survive with return visitors, people who keep coming back multiple times. My question about McDonald's is this: How many people have really been to McDonald's? When your sign says 99 billion served, that is repeat business. How many unique visitors have they actually received? If only there were a site meter at McDonald's, then we might know the answer to this question. I'm afraid the answer to this question will be left up in the air through the ages.

Celebrity Sightings

We are going to take a poll on this one! Some people thought this was Amy Brenneman from Judging Amy. I have never seen the show so I have no idea. I did Google her and in some pictures I think no way is that her, but in other candid shots of her I think it could be. This was in the Boston airport as we were leaving yesterday to come home. So let me know what you think.

These two pictures were taken in the Boston airport when we first arrive in Massachusetts. We were hanging around baggage claim waiting for the rental car to show up when someone else showed up! This is Christian Slater. He was with his two kids. No one in the airport mobbed him but everyone was casually glancing as often as possible. I sneaked these shots by pretending to take pictures of other family members (hence why the second shot is cropped). We were very excited for this!!

PS3 Queues

Would you wait in line for 4 days to be one of the first for a PS3? Personally I think it is a waste of time and money. Why buy something that expensive? Why isn't a PS2 good enough? Or any other game system? Why can't you wait for a month or two and get it when you don't need to camp outside of best buy for days? Where are the people in line going to use the bathroom for 4 days? Are they going to take showers? Are they gonna tag team with other people so they can take a break from the humiliation? Perhaps I just don't understand the utter awesomeness of these new video games systems to lower my dignity enough to camp outside of best buy or some other retailer for the release of PS3. I think it's dumb... What's it to ya?
