Pilgrims

On Friday Dec. 29 we traveled down to Plymouth to see the Mayflower (which is actually the Mayflower2, a replica). Since it was winter the ship was closed so we could only take pictures from a distance.
A few yards away from the Mayflower 2 was Plymouth rock. Some people had told me that it was a small rock so don't expect anything grand, but it was a lot bigger than I thought it was. If you look closely there is a crack down the left side of it from where it broke while getting moved around. Some of the pilgrims thought the rock should be in the town square so they moved it and it broke. Eventually the rock got moved back to its original position here on the beach of Plymouth, MA.
